Instructions and Information

Required Forms

  • International Student Financial Aid Application
  • International Business Supplement, if applicable
  • A signed statement from your parent’s employer(s) in the currency in which they are paid, including a copy of their final pay statements issued in calendar year 2011
    • Early Decision applicants only:  A signed statement from your parent’s employer(s) in the currency in which they are paid, including a copy of their final pay statements issued in calendar year 2010 is due November 15 in addition to their statement(s) due March 1.

We do not accept the CSS PROFILE from non-U.S. citizens living abroad.  Please budget wisely by excluding Williams College from your school list.

How to Submit Your Forms

We prefer to receive your forms via ground or air mail.  We will accept faxed documents or email attachments if the cost to mail is a financial burden.

Non-U.S. Students who Live in the United States

Non-U.S. students who live with their parents in the United States are required to submit the application materials for U.S. Citizens and Permanent U.S. Residents.  You are not required to submit the application materials listed above.  However, any non-U.S. student who lives in the United States but whose parents live abroad should follow the application guidelines for Non-U.S. Citizens.

Late Application

Any student whose application is incomplete as of the first day of classes, September 6, 2012, will not be eligible for aid from Williams College for the fall semester.

Spring Semester Deadline

Any student re-admitted for Winter Study and/or spring semester of the current 2011-2012 academic year who wishes to apply for financial aid from Williams College must submit a complete application by December 1, 2011. Contact our office to review application requirements and how to access forms. Please understand that we cannot process your application until the Offices of the Dean and Registrar update your PeopleSoft status to “enrolled.”
