Students from the US have an option to book their travel through EGENCIA, the College’s online travel software platform. New students will receive an email from Egencia offering a link that will grant access to book through the College’s travel planning partner. The costs for your ticket will be charged directly to your student account for payment closer to the beginning of the semester.
Please note, when you first request the ticket it must be approved. Once it’s approved, you’ll get a follow up notification and email with the subject line ACTION REQUIRED. It’s critical that you follow those steps to actually secure your travel plans. We are monitoring this very carefully since time is of the essence.
While some students will have sufficient financial aid to cover the cost of travel with their grant, please note that this is still an expense and you will see that reflected on your next billing statement.
While we encourage you to use this option, you may still book your travel independently if that is more convenient for you and your family.
We hope that this process will ease the burden to pay the cost of your travel up front or having to ask special permission to book through our office.
